The City will be accepting heavy waste at the City Warehouse located at 200 Wingate Street from Monday, March 11, 2024 through Friday, March 22, 2024 as part of a citywide cleanup effort.  Heavy waste will be accepted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Restricted materials to include oil, tires, paint, batteries, and electronics such as televisions and computers cannot be accepted. 

The City will also be sponsoring a “Be Green – Stay Clean” event during this time and is encouraging individuals and organizations to help cleanup our city by picking up litter on various streets throughout the city.  The City can assist with garbage bags and vests for volunteers and will pickup and dispose of all trash that is collected.
